High Quality Craftsmanship

All items I create are handmade to bring out the natural character of the wood. No two creations will ever be the same due to the unique shape of each barrel or live-edge slab, so attention to detail and creative thinking play a big role in the design and creation process. All of my products are individually handcrafted using up-cycled, re-cycled, salvaged & re-purposed materials.

My focus is not on mass production. I prefer to spend my time & energy creating fewer pieces that are of higher quality and are designed to be beautiful, sustainable, unique and a conversation starter.

Although I am an Engineer by education, I am also an artisan and I am constantly striving to create new items that bring out the inner character of the wood that I am working with.

Wine Barrel and Live Edge Woods

Unlike most wine barrel wood products that are on the market, my products are sold finished and are 100% made from the parts of each barrel. Each piece is made from quality materials with the highest standards. Every wood product goes through numerous stages of sanding and application of the best of stains, protective finishes, glues and hardware.

All of the reclaimed wood and live-edge furniture pieces are constructed from real trees and solid slabs of wood and are professionally dried to 6-8% moisture content before any build. I prefer and actually seek out wood with cracks, twists and color as I find it more interesting and results in unique pieces; as such no two pieces are the same. This is the inherent character of wood and is not considered a defect in material. I will use various types of epoxy and different finishes to bring the best out of the wood.
